I had my tank emptied last week because of a gas smell obour in the bathroom which is nearest to the tank. However I still have the same smell in the bathroom, any idea why not had anything like it in the last 4 years. |

A friend of mine had the same problem and it turned out to be the Dish washer?.

| No reason at all? We have the same problem ourselves and have never sussed it out? Maybe the wind changed?

I had the same problem then realised that since the waste connections all go into one pipe. When the bath or sink empty a vacuum is formed and water is sucked out of the water traps under the sink or bath.
I now run a tap in all other bathroom sinks etc for a short time to fill up the water traps, no smells now. |

| we also had this problem. it was the water trap in a shower that was rarely used. now we just run the water in there now and again . no problems with smell since |
